Prompt Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for creative and detail-oriented individuals to develop, test, and optimize prompts for AI systems and applications. This fully remote freelance position focuses on improving the performance, accuracy, and usability of AI-generated results.

Job Description

• Develop, create, and optimize prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Improve prompts in terms of accuracy, consistency, and relevance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement requirements in AI solutions
• Test and evaluate AI outputs and continuously refine prompts
• Create reusable prompt templates and frameworks
• Document workflows, results, and best practices
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI and prompt engineering

Job Requirements

• Experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication skills in German and English
• Ability to formulate clear, structured, and precise instructions
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques (few-shot, chain-of-thought, RAG)
• Basic knowledge of APIs or scripting is a plus
• Experience in content writing or AI-related writing is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment
